OSR is one of the auxiliary equipment , suitable for all transformer fitted with On-Load/ Off-Load Tap Changer. It is to protect the OLTC from surge generated during malfunctioning or any mechanical/electrical fault. Usually placed between OLTC and Conservator Tank. Available with Micro switch and Reed switch.
